Since 1925, the Boulogne Yacht Club has been promoting sailing in Boulogne-sur-Mer.
Founded in 1925, the Yacht Club Boulonnais is one of the oldest sailing clubs on the Opal Coast. In 2025, we celebrated a century of passion for the sea and sailing.
Our passion: sharing the joy of sailing. From first attempts in Optimists to regattas in cruising yachts, the club supports every sailor, whatever their level.
Every Saturday during term time, young people can learn to sail in Optimist dinghies and windsurf, supervised by our qualified instructors.
Schools, colleges, scouts, leisure centres: we welcome groups all year round for introductory sailing sessions.
Depending on your availability, we offer training in both cruising and dinghy sailing with our private lessons and courses throughout the year.

Become a member of the clubSailing in Boulogne-sur-Mer began with the first Boulogne regattas in 1852. After years of regattas, the rise in popularity of recreational boating led to the official creation of the Boulogne Yacht Club in 1925.
Initially focused on cruising sailing, the club opened up to dinghy sailing in 1954 after merging with the "La Mouette Boulonnaise" club.
Today, the Boulonnais Yacht Club organises cruising regattas and introductory courses in dinghy sailing, and every year welcomes hundreds of young people to practise all forms of sailing.
